Bereavement Ministry
The Bereavement Ministry would like to take this time during this Holiday Season to let those know who have lost a loved one that we are truly mindful of you. We are reminded that Jesus is truly the reason for the Season.
When a beloved Saint of God is called home there is both joy and sadness. There is joy because "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." 2Cor5;8. This is indeed comforting, as there is a natural sadness, as the family grieves the loss of their loved one. The Bereavement Ministry endeavors to be a blessing and a support in this time of need through service. A repast is prepared for the family upon their return from the interment. It is a tremendous opportunity to show the love of God through a spirit of service with excellence.
Any member of the Bread of Life Fellowship who is interested in being a part of the Bereavement Ministry can contact Deaconess Dee Smith at the bread325@aol.com. Those who serve in the Ministry may be called upon to shop for groceries, meal preparation, meal service and be available for set-up and clean-up.
